Terms of service

These terms govern engagements between you and Freya, which is operated by a self-employed individual based in Sofia, Bulgaria — see legal notice for the full trader identity. Signing off a brief or paying a deposit means accepting them.

They are written for business clients. Freya does not offer these services to individuals acting outside a trade, business or profession; see cancellation & notice terms for what that does and does not mean.

Every engagement starts with a written brief, signed off by both sides. That brief is the reference point for scope, audience and goal for the rest of the project.

Each deliverable includes 2 revision rounds: one structural round covering shape and argument, and one line-edit round covering wording and tone. Both are measured against the brief as signed off.

Revisions beyond those, and any change to audience, goal or scope requested after sign-off, are billed at €85 an hour, quoted before the work starts wherever that is practical.

Turnaround times quoted on pricing and in your proposal are counted in business days from brief sign-off, not from your first message. A brief that takes two weeks to finalise does not shorten the delivery window; it starts the clock two weeks later.

50% to start, 50% on delivery. Retainer fees are payable monthly in advance. Invoices are settled by bank transfer to the account on the invoice.

All prices are in euro and are final amounts payable. No VAT is added, because the provider is not registered for VAT under the Bulgarian VAT Act. That is a statement about how Freya invoices, not about how your own business should treat the transaction for its accounting — that is a matter for your accountant, and no representation is made about it here.

If you supply facts, data, brand assets, trademarks, quotations or any other material to write from, you confirm you have the right to give it to us and to have it used in the deliverable. You agree to cover any loss arising from a third-party claim about material you supplied.

Copyright in a deliverable transfers to you on receipt of full and final payment for that deliverable — once both the deposit and the balance for that specific piece of work are paid.

Before full payment you may read and comment on drafts, but you do not have a licence to publish or otherwise use the work commercially.

What you tell us about your business is treated as confidential and is not used for any purpose other than delivering your project. A formal NDA is available on request.

If we do not hear back for 30 days after a request for feedback, materials or approval, the project is treated as paused, and work completed to that point is billable as normal.

If a paused project resumes after 90 days, scope, timeline and price may need to be reconfirmed before it continues, because the original brief may no longer hold.

These services are provided with reasonable professional skill and care. No specific business outcome is promised — not conversions, sales, rankings or revenue — because those depend on your offer, your market, your traffic and your sales process, none of which are within our control.

Total liability for an engagement is capped at the fees paid for the deliverable giving rise to the claim, and there is no liability for indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing here limits liability that Bulgarian law does not permit to be limited. Under Article 94 of the Law on Obligations and Contracts an advance agreement excluding liability for intent or gross negligence is void, and these terms do not attempt one.

These terms are governed by Bulgarian law. A dispute that cannot be resolved directly goes to the competent court in Sofia.

Terms may be updated for future engagements. The terms in force at brief sign-off govern that engagement.
